This makes me think... Surely there's a forum of indie filmmaker dudes out there somewhere who are wondering where they can get cool, lo-fi recordings...

 

Imagine how cool it would be to somehow pair up indie musicians with indie film makers. I know I'd definitely give away plenty of music for just the promise of "if we make a bazillion dollars somehow, we'll pay you a cut then."

I wasn't going to drive down to Chicago from Milwaukee and pay scalpers prices (or not). I could have bought tickets on Craigslist for any night, but $100 was usery.

think they were all going for face value. i had an extra one & sold it for face like d banda.

I saw two tapers there and spoke to one and he said he would post the show if it turned out well. It's been a couple of weeks now and I haven't seen it show up (I have seen the 1/30 Ann Arbor show and 1/31 Champaign show). I'm guessing it didn't turn out. Too bad if that's the case because it was a great show.

its also quite possible that the taper has been extremely busy.

There was a taper there who will put both nights up on etree shortly!

you keep saying this, unless there was another one then the one behind you, don't be surprised if it takes awhile. unless you taped the show, you shouldn't speak for the speediness of the tapers.

I was going to call you during Gun but I figured you were sleeping. Simple Twist of Fate was one of the highlights for me, We've Been Had (dusted off a little) sounded great, as did the acoustic Hate it Here.
