  1. Just wanted to say thank you for the heads up on the show. My fiance just bought our tickets. Thanks again.
  2. You are correct. It was meant to pick your own personal greatest hits. I also agree that my track selection could change daily.
  3. wooops AGIB - At Least That's What You Said
  4. AM - Passenger Side BT 1 - Misunderstood BT 2 - Sunken Treasure ST - A Shot in the Arm YHF- Ashes of American Flags SKB - You Are My Face W(ta) - One Wing Mermaid I - Hesitating Beauty Mermaid II - Remember the Mountain Bed
  5. My Top 5 Reasons That I Am Obsessed with Wilco: 5. My two year old knows 80% to the lyrics of Monday. Although instead of singing "Monday, I'm all high" he croons, "Monday, aloha". 4. My five year old prefers the live version of Walken and Kingpin, but the studio versions of Impossible Germany and I'm Always in Love. 3. In the past three years I have attended Jeff's solo show at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, and Wilco shows in Charleston, Asheville, Charlottesville, and Baltimore. I live in Virginia Beach. 2. I have spent an inappropriate amount of money on custom framing numerous Wilco
  6. Like everyone else I was very excited for the release of W(TA). Unlike everyone else I am a bit underwhelmed. I've listened to the stream four times and I am still waiting for a song to step up and and take its place amongst the dozens of Wilco classics. You and I is an expository train wreck. Lyrics don't have to be overly complicated to be beautiful, but they should never be boring. Is this the same man that wrote Sunken Treasure, IATTBYH, VC, You are My Face, etc.....? I fear that this album has made be truly appreciate what an outstanding album SBS is. Maybe I just need more time.
  7. The worst Wilco song in the world is hands down Candyfloss.
  8. Thank you for the congrats on the engagement. Apparently I am the minority leader when it comes to the Candyfloss issue. They played the song all week it seems. I am all for rare gems, but I wouldn't mind hearing some Dash 7, That's Not the Issue, or even Was I In Your Dreams. As far as the internet requests, I agree that one should not waste picks on Jesus Etc, IG, and IATTBYH. However, we may all want the rare gems, but watch those same folks pull out their hair and begin to rock incessantly when they leave a Wilco show without hearing Jesus Etc or Heavy Metal Drummer. Personally, I thi
  9. Like all of you I love Wilco. So much so that I asked my girlfriend to marry me in the second row at the Asheville show on Tuesday night. She too is a huge Wilco fan. We both loved the setlist from the show, however, we are both surprised by the apparent adoration of Candyfloss. Everyone has their favorites and their not so favorites. I am moved to tears and or smiles by 99% of the Wilco catalog. But Candyfloss........This may be heresy, but Candyfloss is simply a bad song. Have we lost our minds or are their others that wish Jeff got his way and this track was left off Summerteeth.
  10. This was my 5th Wilco show and of course the boys were amazing as usual. Call me crazy but I have to say I am not a big fan of Candyfloss. Maybe I am swayed by the anti-Jay Bennet sentiment found in the documentary IATTBYH. Candyfloss aside, it was a hell of a show.
