what a friend and I heard which I missed in Providence was "Jeff Bebe" which is Jason Lee's character from Almost Famous.

I'll be there with a bunch of friends...can't wait, Providence was great.

did someone really call super session "rubbish"? that is one of the best albums ever....Albert's Shuffle makes my jaw drop everytime never mind Season of the Witch....killer.

It amazes me when people say this. Saying it sounds like a BK album is like saying Wings sounds like the Beatles to me. Its a completely different thing. He's got a full backing band...most of the songs are in a completely different style. The voice is always going to be there but I don't think the Keys have done anything like "Trouble Weights a ton". This is my album of the year so far..others are M Ward Dylan Sonic Youth Eilen Jewell Wilco

actually now that I read the whole post on the blog he is actually talking about Session Americana when he mentioned the whole Dead/Wilco thing. that is really cool. I'll have to read his blog from now on.

I agree.....also I saw him sit in with Session Americana at the Lizard Lounge...one of the best sets i've seen. He tore it up, he was doing chuck berry and Petty covers. Session Americana is a little treasure in Cambridge, those guys can play anything.

They are playing a show in Boston soon...great band but I'm actually loving his solo stuff that he's been playing lately.

that is cool...I live near Boston and I see Bill all the time. Actually he sat right next to me at an M Ward show which was pretty cool. He does a residency at bar near me and he couldn't be a nicer guy.

the steam engine blog has the Spain show up and he cut out the annoying radio stuff also.
