  1. I am trying to apply artwork from google to a version of the Milwaukee show that I have. I have been trying to click "get info," and then editing all items and uploading the image from my documents, yet the artwork does not show up. In addition, I saw that when i looked at the track info individually, the option to edit artwork was grey and could not be accessed. What do I do? Also: What does converting them to AAC do?
  2. It's the speakers for sure.. that drum part is even hard on my car speakers. If you have a Crosley player, then you know that the cheaper ones tend to fuzz out even at moderate volumes
  3. I believe they played it once or twice on the April-ish tour...I do love this song
  4. Go for it man! I read your other post.. Any chance you could put it up elsewhere than Dime?
  5. The only upside of this is that when they are played, it is a very special and unique occasion...I can see it being like Sky Blue Sky or Shake It Off. Country Disappeared is a quality song. I see Solitaire being played at the solo shows.... (duh moment of the day) hhaha
  6. I'm wondering why they have been holding off on this one?
  7. I was at a Frozen Yogurt place in the Delmar Loop in St. Louis tonight and I heard You and I..pretty cool
  8. Good to know... Like I said, the noise doesn't distort from the awesome and warm sound quality of the record.. I was just wondering if the subtle crackling throughout was caused by my carelessness with the sleeve. However, I see now that this is simply a normal part of the sound of records.
  9. How exactly do I go about the cleaning? I am unfamiliar with the parts of the stylus, and the needle just seems so small.. What parts need to be cleaned?
  10. Hello all, I am still new to vinyl and such, and I was wondering what is the best way to clean a stylus needle.. I do not have the specialized brush, but I have heard that there are more accessible, home-made alternatives. 1. Does the q-tip and alcohol method seem safe? 2. My main question is how to actually go about cleaning it.. I have done some reading, but the textual instructions have thus far proven confusing, especially because I am rather unfamiliar with the various parts. I am confused, where do I clean? On the needle itself? It seems so small...
  11. It isn't super noticeable, and it isn't all the time, but between songs I definitely hear it, and it is more prominent during quiet songs.. Not super loud and noticeable, just when I listen closely
  12. Ok, I got the cleaning kit, and there is no more dust at all.. However, subtle crackling continues throughout.. it isn't very noticeable, and is audible more during quiet parts/up close to the turntable. Is this crackling normal?
  13. It sounds pretty perfect.. I mean it has like two pops throughout the whole thing and I am positive that those are just normal.. I guess I got lucky
  14. 1. I made the mistake of putting my copy of W(TA) in the actual jacket, without the paper sleeve... it was difficult to remove, and now the surface of the LP has many of what appear to be scuff marks... is this harmful, and is my LP ruined? 2. I have a lot of dust building up, how can I prevent this?
  15. I just saw this on adult swim during the commercial break for family guy....pretty cool
  16. You say that now that you got what you wanted, but earlier you were complaining that no one would pass on a file that surely involves illegally sharing a traceable itunes file. I'm sorry, but it is just easy to forget that someone has to upload that and risk being in trouble, and it is easy to complain when you are merely downloading the track.. it is easy to fall into this selfishness... I realize that you shared unlikely japan, but that wasn't risky in the same way...Also, the person who originally uploaded actually purchased the track... which is unfortunately the only way to acquire it, bu
