  1. Me either. I've never really heard any of the band members solo work.
  2. I noticed in the new issue of Rolling Stone the reviewer says the new album "gives off a strong country vibe, with lots of pedal steel and acoustic guitar".
  3. I've read about those songs, but never heard them. I can't recall exactly, but I think those tracks were done around the same time as the Rolling Thunder tracks.
  4. I have it on vinyl - it was given to me by a guy who owned a record store here back in the 90s. I also have the cd, which I found in a record store in Pittsburgh last year. I also have this on vinyl: Great Grape. It was given to me many years ago by a guy who bought it when it came out. I would love to find original pressings of the albums. This is the one I have: Moby Grape ED137
  5. If you dig around at Amazon, I think you can find Moby Grape/Wow/Grape Jam for 30-40 dollars now. I am glad I managed to buy all of them when they came out. You will also see the San Francisco Sound releases listed there, which is the company of the Moby Grape's old manager. Those releases are sourced from vinyl. And in the case of Wow/Grape Jam, is not even complete - that is, it is heavily edited to make it fit on one cd. I would not buy those. The first album was also out by way of the UK label Demon/Edsel Records.
  6. Sundazed is now offering the bonus tracks that were on their re-issues of Moby Grape/Wow/Grape Jam/Moby Grape '69/Truly Fine Citizen in two formats: CD or Vinyl. Their re-issues of Moby Grape and Wow/Grape Jam are still not available to purchase. I am not sure how they are able to offer the bonus tracks that were on those releases. There must be some sort of legal deal going down. I'd get this while you can. You can still get Moby Grape '69 and Truly Fine Citizen. The Place and the Time
  7. I found this at To Be Young: To Be Young Answering Bell I was doing some digging around at Answering Bell, and this is what I found:
  8. Sorry. I love cats. That is true.
  9. Chickens? This is a thread about the greatest animals on the planet - cats.
  10. I did not know that about the Instant Live/Beacon Shows. I just looked, and I think almost all of the shows are up at Demonoid.
  11. I'm sure they will be doing something with those shows. They usually sell their live shows by way of Instant Live. I saw on another message board that someone was posting AUD tapes on Demonoid and such places. As we know, they allow taping, but not torrenting.
  12. Meet the Claw: U2's Massive New Stage Set The Claw (U2.com article) The Claw (Rolling Stone article)
  13. This was on PBS the other night: Pete Seeger - The Power of Song
  14. Did anyone catch this? If I had realized it was on, I guess I could have watched it. Looks like you can watch it online.
  15. Since I am home, and it got put up early: Link
  16. The people who use to live above me when I moved here about 16 years ago use to wash their cat every week. They would never let it outside - so I don't know why it needed to be washed so much. The cat was a bit odd - it almost barked like a dog, and liked to grab people's hands and bite them. All of my cat friends are strays or outside cats who spend almost all of their time running free. I was trying to teach a certain cat to meow the Banana Splits theme song the other day, but she would not go for it though.
  17. I often wonder how well re-issues of albums sell. I would think they don't do these kind of numbers:
  18. That was certainly a dark episode. An email from The Michael Scott Paper Company.
  19. He didn't give himself that name - Tony DeFries did.
