  3. I just looked up some of those albums at Amazon. It looks like the re-masters are still in print, and actually don't cost all that much.

    Ferris Wheel

I've got a copy of Open Road on Vinyl, its def. He's overlooked gem, and the closing tune "new years resolution" is a minor masterpiece, there was also a couple good tunes on that record he did for american records in the 90's J Cash Style.

  4. The Rolling Hayseeds and Rich Kaufmann (from the hayseeds) great local alt. country band early 90's, and Kenn Kwedder, everyone should look into Ken for a wealth of great tunes, performances and personality, reporting from philly PA.n1136782025_1374694_4546.jpg

  5. Thought I'd share with you all my grateful dead game, all u need is one computer with i-tunes radio, under classic rock find radioioDead, crack one beer, take one or two puffs (optionalof course), the station doesn't play entire sets or shows, mostly just live songs from different eras, on what I imagine is just some kind of shuffle, so, the object of the game is to simply guess the year of the performance, once you've decided on a year, look at i-tunes, it will say 9-10-90 for example, I'd say I nail it 3 out of 5 times, I mostly struggle with the 90's, I know its the 90's but not exact year, but then there's give aways like listening for hornsby or something. It's a fun way to test your grateful geekyness, which I apparently have plenty of! Play on!

  6. He registers off the charts on the wussdar, though in weaker moments I've enjoyed 'our house'and 'teach the children,on some level. If you dig any of the CSN guys don't ever read there biography, never have 3 bigger Dbags existed at one time and place on earth, of course this is an overblown exageration but I was left feeling something like that. I exclude Neil, because Neil is simply captain cool, and Crosby was probably alright, at least to party with. But I have heard that 'songs for beginners' is the standout of all the CSN solo releases, but I say check out anything from Doug Sahm instead!

  7. For folks who frequent the archive, anyone aware of any computer viruses present there? I'm no computer wizard of any kind, my knowledge of such things is minimal, it seems the last 2 times I've had issues with my computer where following trips to the archive. The latest, the screen started blinking, and now the screen is just black, no picture at all, I was only streaming as well, no download. Just coincidence?

  8. Anyone have Jerry G box set 'all good things' box set? Just stumbled across it, didn't know they reissued all the solo records, and with what appears to be A LOT of bonus material. Have reflections, on vinyl, but that's all my solo jerry. Also, who's going to see the dead in philly? I haven't seen a dead related show since RFK 93 I believe, and am thinking should leave it be, but what fun to sit in the lot and strum dead tunes on my guitar again
