what did you think of that?

I said in the NP thread last week I think, that after hearing the album earlier this year I never felt like going back to it. It all got a bit samey after about the fourth track. But after seeing him live a couple of weeks ago I went back to the album and now see it in a totally different light. It's not something that I could listen to all the time, but there is some beautiful stuff on there. The Underwood Typewriter in particular is just incredible.

Totally. The guy was a sweetheart. At the end of the day we're all capable of snapping and getting pissed off with people at the wrong time and place, especially if you've got a load of kids with mobile phone cameras in your face. I seem to remember him commenting at the amount of press taking shots at him at ATP during their show - though, not sure if he was pissed about it or not. Aside from the whole camera incident, the comment about calling the album Jason made me laugh..

enjoying this a helluva lot more after seeing him last week.

its pretty damn sweet so far. only upto track 5 but its certainly not a let down. fucked up kid is amazing, so is safety bricks. similar to you forgot it in people era BSS.

The album cover / title of that intrigues me. I might have to give it a listen...
