How were the Shins Bridget? Modest Mouse is pretty good. First listen through im sure it'll get better each time. The guitar sound is great but to be honest if you didnt already know it was Marr playing it could be anyone.

Great stuff. If you like those two make sure you get Sologne and Loney, Noir too. They're just as good if not better. There both up on Oink.

I got it through on promo yesterday. Its Blackstrap - Steal My Horses And Run. Swedish reverb drenched shoegazing rock n roll. Certainly you're cup of tea mate. Its a fantastic record.

Its a fantastic album. Not as good as Sologne but still very good. Just listening to my proper copy I got through today - sounds like a different mix than the one I had previously had. Hopefully Sub Pop will put out his other two albums later this year - you can only get them direct through him on CD-R.

I havent seen Richard Hodgekins round these parts for a while.
