Yeah - they played a fantastic set. Never heard of them before the gig - I take it they've only done the one EP? My pictures are here if your interested. Lavender Diamond - Shepherds Bush Empire

its just another form of compressing a file. like a .zip or a .sit. I take it your on a PC? You should already be able to open them but if not look on here http://www.rarlab.com/ for a download.

The support band were really good too. Lavender Diamond - folky/indie pop type stuff. Within 30 seconds of the set starting I knew I was going to buy their album / ep - which rarely happens with a support band. Great stuff. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mullersflickr...526420864/show/

Wow. First time seeing these guys and wasnt dissapointed. Put on a good two hour set - Colin was in fine humour and interacted with the crowd really well. During Sons & Daughters he pulled loads of people out of the crowd to sing backing vocals. The main event occured in the first encore when the band were joined by Robyn Hitchcock and Mike Scott from the Waterboys. As im not familiar with either artists I dont know what songs they played. Im trying to find a set list at the moment. For now though - here is a pic. The rest are uploading as we speak. Ill post some more in a bit....

I came to the conclusion on the train tonight that "The Cold Swedish Winter" may well be one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Amazing.

The Long Winters - When I Pretend To Fall The Long Winters are straight ahead Indie Rock. Really good solid pop songs. Their latest is by far the strongest albun "Putting The Days To Bed" certainly worth checking out - its only
