i'm coming to the show in chicago on the 28th hopefully the tigers will have won the world series in 5 or less games.

the local news told us not to worry that ford field was not on the list (the lions are in new york plying the jets this week). they said that lions fans had nothing to worry about. it still doesn't put me out of my misery for purchasing my season tickets for yet another amazing year of lions football.

weaver was pretty good as a tiger he just never got the run support. i remember him losing a lot of games 2-0, 2-1, 1-0 and so on. as for juan encarnacion i never did care for him and when the cards played the tigers earlier this year we had seats in right field and the whole section was heckeling juan the whole time.

my first baseball memory is going to tiger stadium on fathers day with my dad, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather getting a burger at nemos and then heading over to the game. it was hat day and i still have the free hat with the wjr logo on the side. probably about 1987 i was 5. parked by nemos last friday and walked around the old girl (tiger stadium) and someone had spray painted comerica park sucks on a section of the wall. also got a parking ticket. buit it was worth the nostalgia.
