  1. i just finished the one on Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited and its great.
  2. it is a hysterical book. having lived in the area he's talking about it makes it extra amusing. my girlfriend lives by his dads old army navy surplus shop and sadly it recently went out of business. also check out "kick Me" his other memoir when you get a chance.

  4. no there is so suh much going on in the film that i didn't really listen to his accent.
  5. Just watched Blood Diamond and thought it was a great movie. Thought Leonard Dicaprio and Djimon Hounsou were great in it.

  10. I just went and saw the Good Shepard. enjoyed it very much eventhough it dragged a little in the middle. barely recognized pesci man is he looking old. going to see Pan's Labyrinth tomorrow, i'm really looking forward to it.

  12. just heard the news. had a tearful voice mail from my grandfather. he said the michigan flag will be at half mass tomorrow in front of his house. definitly a huge loss for michigan. go blue and bo rip.

  16. i really enjoyed this last year. the drive by truckers at the culture room and secret machines at studio a last year were awesome. not too impressed by this years lineup. the drive down last year took forever. explosions in the sky, band of horses, and malkmus would be great.

Tigers manager Jim Leyland has said many times he was simply in the right place at the right time for the Tigers resurgence, but on Wednesday he received some well-deserved credit for Detroit's sudden ascension to the AL pennant when he was named the AL Manager of the Year. Leyland becomes just the second Tiger in history to win the honor. Sparky Anderson was the only other Tigers skipper to win manager of the year honors, taking the award in 1984 and '87. Leyland also became the third person to win the award in both leagues, joining Tony La Russa and Bobb
