The Replacements Let It Be box set was just delayed from 10/24 to 11/21 so I'm guessing that's right.  

Are there any fans of the podcast 60 Songs that Explain the 90s: the 2000s?

It took me a bit but it's become one of my favorite music podcasts.  Rob Harvilla, the host, gives long, seemingly rambling introductions before even getting to the song that's the subject of the episode.  At his best, the rambling all comes together as he introduces the song and then as he continues, you start to understand the long intro.  

There's a recent episode about Heavy Metal Drummer that I enjoyed.  

Going to see Apocalypse Now tonight and Heart of Darkness (the documentary about the making of Apocalypse Now) tomorrow.

They probably each deserve their own threads but sad to see that both Dave Allen (Gang of Four) and Clem Burke (Blondie) have both passed away.

Jon is such a fantastic drummer, plays with a great variety of bands (since leaving Superchunk), and is very very funny.
