Lammy, you are on to something......of the last 10 flicks I got from the library, I watched 3 of them. "Blue Ruin" just went back unwatched.

You're not supposed to get into the pants of movies, just watch them.

FYI, pulling the PC card can result in a good old fashioned stabbing. Also, a new film based on an Elmore Leonard book is coming out starring John Hawkes (aka Teardrop from Winters Bone) called "Life of Crime". Just so you know.

Speaking of apples, my dwarf apple trees (Jonagold and Honeycrisp) have produced no fruit again. Second year in a row. Its ok though, the trees had a tough time being laden with fruit the first year. Lost a lot of branches.

And soon I'll be feasting on an Israeli street food lunch. Gaia apples? If only!

Also, I celebrated the day by eating a chocolate glazed donut instead of a Gala apple for breakfast.

Today is the beginning of a long holiday weekend.

I have a good portion of that new box set. Some of it is close to unlistenable, just really poor recordings (or low-fi as Louie said). It would be a tremendous challenge to "clean" it up. That said, I'm glad its coming out. It took me years and some serious begging to get it all together.
