My new desktop.

I saw his kid the other night. Really good (part of the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, it can be listened to online, and is on many public radio stations). More Hank Sr and Waylon Jennings than new or Alt country. Had a lot of personality, yet came across as shy, like if Andy Griffith had been a reformed junkie.

Hoping to see his dad and Allison M next month.

David Archuleta, on the other hand...

Jason seems to be unable to bring much passion to his performances because his mind is full of this thought" "Like, Wow, I'm pretty. Especially my eyes, dude".

And is it just me, or does David Archuelletta behave a bit like Ed Grimley? He gets on my nerves, but I know he's just young.

David Cook is really adept at singing songs like Eddie Vedder, I enjoy Brooke's empathetic facial contortions. Taeesha (sp?) seems to be the best singer, most star-like and comfortable on stage. I don't know why Simon keeps dissing her.

Vibes to you and Emily, Kate. I'm glad she has his bass. And the part about your dog really choked me up. Very touching.

My old boyfriend claims that Fire And Rain was written for his cousin who spent time in the psychiatric hospital with James.

He also claims to have picked up Aimee Mann in a Lawrence bar during the cocaine years, and travelled with her and her 'Till Tuesday band to Colorado for a lost week.

 

The dude had some outrageous tales, but every one of them turned out to be true.
