Watched a great movie last ight on Prime called "The Sound of Metal." It's about a drummer in a punk duo who loses his hearing. Great performances -- especially from Riz Ahmed.

Mine came in the mail on Friday. It's great, but not IMO as strong as The Unraveling -- only one Cooley song. DBT, Wilco and YLT are my three favorite "current" bands.

It's been a strange holiday season. My oldest son lives in San Diego and cancelled his month long trip back home due to Covid -- haven't seen him in a year (which has been hard). My mother-in-law passed away two weeks ago at the ripe old age of 95. She was a great lady -- the quintessential "crusty New Englander." I attended her mass/funeral by Zoom which was weird, but I'm grateful I could be there virtually. We are also in the process of moving/down-sizing (which is more stressful that I had anticipated) so we have sold/donated/given away a lot of furniture and the place looks pretty ba

I prefer the new format. The comments distract from the show itself (like people talking during a concert) . Now I can more easily escape them.

Nice. I always seem to listen to Poi Dog around Thanksgiving (probably because they have a song titled "Thanksgiving!").
