  1. Still - I was really bored by JWH the first few listens. Thought it was lightweight and uninspired. Now it's probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Dylan album.
  2. Name some other Celtics to back up your claim. It's the Bulls who are a bunch of assholes.
  3. I'm not feeling this new one - but I need to remember, I wasn't feeling John Wesley Harding the first few times I heard that.
  4. Regarding the title: Wilco (The Album) > Wilco
  5. So it sounds like it pulled you in at least a little.

  7. Titanic is a good movie, as is Drugstore Cowboy. What a mindfuck!
  8. I almost forgot about the lines that launched the PMRC! "I knew a girl named Nikki I guess U could say she was a sex fiend I met her in a hotel lobby Masturbating with a magazine" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darling_Nikki
  9. Nels is checking out Tweedy's schween.
  10. I don't know, but it is the band that was sued by their own fans for sucking.
  11. No more sleeveless shirts for me.
  12. It occurred to me that this is only the 3rd Bob Dylan 'new' album that I've been interested in. When Time Out of Mind came out, Dylan in my mind was still the washed-up genius whose best days were behind him (I hadn't heard World Gone Wrong or Good As I Been To You at that point). It's still sort of a novelty to be interested in new Dylan, is sort of what I'm saying. I wonder how folks on here (besides the few oldsters I know about) see Dylan's career - TOOM changed my view of his continuing value for sure. I imagine L&T did that for many.
  13. I've still got to give the whole thing a listen. I've only made it about 5 songs in.
  14. Has anyone listened to the so-called "Lost Interview" yet?
  15. He needs to be rescued from the NL!!!
  16. Wow, Pujols is only 29? I thought he was like 80 33.
  17. Yup yup yup. Although, he doesn't really play the guitar anymore, right? I'd love another heap of World Gone Wrong-type songs (penned by him or not).
  18. Wow. I had no knowledge of him. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/arti..._zeroed_in_now/
  19. You caught some midsummer weather too, you lucky bastard.
  20. The Mississippi Delta was shining like a National guitar - Paul Simon, 'Graceland'
