  1. Nah. I bought Daydream Nation in 1989 and Murray Street is my favorite SY album.
  2. Oddly, this is what first got me into SY: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLQmCLpm_RE
  3. Bacharach & David used to write his favorite songs.
  4. Leave it to Dylan to get an argument started over what exactly is zydeco.
  5. People How You Doing There's A New Day Dawning For The Earth Mother It's A Brand New Morning For Such A Long While There's Been Such A Longing But Now The Sun Is Shining Let's Roll Back The Awning
  6. Everything felt co-opted and shitty when I was in high school, and I can only appreciate now looking back how much I was able to experience some cool shit.
  7. Big Pink is the only Band I own - and I don't really like it. I've been meaning to try out the self-titled one.
  8. Say what? I agree iTunes sucks - what is foobar? (I mean, I googled it, and found info, but what's the skinny?)
  9. As much as I love Pet Sounds, it's true that I was most into it - and most connected to it - when I was in my mid-20s.
  10. I'm on an iMac I bought in '05. Pre-Intel processor = 1.9 GHz G5 and I have Adobe CS3 installed. That might have something to do with it.
  11. I keep my music on an external hard drive that iTunes reads from. It slows down my computer like a mofo though, and as a result, I hardly ever open iTunes when working at my computer. I pretty much only use iTunes when I'm away from the computer. Right now, I'm working in Flash and Illustrator and listening to Pandora. Sorry to hear about your crash, Sarah. I'll turn on my external drive later to see what I can send ya.
  12. If anything, Sgt. Pepper is underrated these days, as it is not a 'cool' Beatles album, like Revolver or The White Album.
  13. I think any album can and will 'click' eventually. Sandinista is a great example of that for me.
