  1. Hammond Song TOTALLY stuck in my head today....
  2. Note about Once A Day: It's not a Don Gibson song. (You can hear Jeff saying so a little later in this episode, but other people were talking and it was kind of covered up. Susie asked if it was Don Gibson and you can hear him saying something like "No, but I play it in his style," or something similar) It was written by Bill Anderson and made famous by Connie Smith. EDITED to add: This song has been recorded by a BUNCH of people over the years, and for all I know Don Gibson may have been one of them.
  3. That's what I understood him to say, too.
  4. Thanks for the kind & welcoming words, everyone. I’m happy to be a part of this community, and -like all of us- so thrilled to have the Tweedys to spend my time with during this crisis. I also feel your pain regarding the Wilco/Sleater-Kinney shows. My wife & I had tix to the Forest Hills Stadium show, which would have been on our anniversary in August. (No word yet on a reschedule date for that one.)
  5. This is a lovely thing to read first thing this morning. Great way to start my day. Thank you, Isaac.
  6. Changed on the spreadsheet, too.
  7. Happy to help, and glad to read that things went well for you.
  8. Tonight’s bonus episode is at 8pm Central, per @stuffinourhouse IG “story.” Notice that’s an hour earlier than usual.

  10. I’ll be happy to be substitute note-taker. Can’t promise to be as thorough as you are, but I’ll be making my notes for the song list anyway. Might as well jot down a few other notes on what they discuss, too. Good luck to you, and be well.
  11. Just an FYI to anyone using the song list: My department has been called back in to work on premises starting this coming Monday. Since I commute out of state every day, that means I have to get up more than 2 hours earlier than I have been while working from home. I'm not sure how this will affect my viewing of the show. Maybe not at all, as I'm a bit of an insomniac anyway. But the point I want to make is that I may not be able to update the list as quickly as I have been. I'll definitely keep doing it, but there may be more of a lag than there has been. Please bear with me.
  12. Cool! I didn't know the original song Casey sang was called Wishing Stone. Just updated the spreadsheet with that change.
  13. Offering up a data point: I noticed on Susie's YouTube channel that she labeled the all-kids/no Jeff show as episode 51. I'm assuming that will not change, and therefore she will call last night's episode number 52. Based on that assumption, I'm going to label last nights songs as episode 52 on the spreadsheet so that it matches up to the YouTube videos. If she does change the numbering when she uploads the episode, I will go back and re-adjust the list to match.
  14. I tagged it in our iTunes as a “bonus track” at the end of OTJ. Much more likely for me (and certainly my wife) to play an album rather than dial up a single song.
  15. If it's an iPhone, you can swipe to get the control center menu, and there's an icon in there for "screen mirroring." Tap that, and any available airplay-able devices will show up in a list. Tap the one you want.
  16. That’s the impression I get from everything I’ve read. Maybe I should update the list to say that song was played over speakers in episode 1.
  17. Is that the only song they did on the first episode? I haven't seen anyone mention any other songs from the "bathtub episode."
  18. And at the end of that, he says something like, "who's got the spreadsheet now?" HAhahaha! Priceless.
  19. Yes, thanks. My wife did a little digging around on the internet and came up with this information yesterday. I suppose that's probably the explanation.
  20. Have to say, I was kind of startled when she mentioned my list. Took me a second to realize she was talking about me.
  21. We just watched this again tonight, and I’m wondering: was this an edited version of the film? My wife and I haven’t seen it since it was new, so it’s very possible we’re misremembering, but both of us thought there were some missing scenes.
  22. Judging by the comments Jeff has made about the situation on The Tweedy Show, it seems unlikely (to me) that he's going to be willing to go back out until it's pretty clear that it's safe for people to gather in large groups. I guess that will depend in turn on how he/the band define "safe," but I suspect they'll err on the side of caution. He hasn't made any direct statement like, "We won't tour again until are met," but it seems clear that he and the rest of the band are taking the shut down and stay-at-home orders very seriously. I have zero insider knowledge, but I would be extremely surp
  23. @u2roolz: I rewatched/relistened to that last song, and also came up with nothing. On the list, I just used the same name you used in your recap.
