  1. i LOVE this game. this is totally ridiculous and you guys are awesome.

    Lost Pants

    Can't Keep from Pantsing

    We've Been Pantsed

    The Ruling Pants

    Retrieval of Pants

(Misunderpants is so awesome...I love that one)

  2. It's been a while since we've played this game....it's fun, amusing and totally juvenile.

The rules are simple....take any word in the title or lyrics of a Wilco song and replace it with "pants" whenever it appears.

Example: Heavy Metal Pants, When You Wake Up Feeling Pants, etc.

This can be extended to pre-Wilco bands and Wilco side projects....Pecan Pants, Make it Through the Pants....and my personal favorite: Satan, Your Pants Must Come Down.

    Ready??

    Go!

  3. family guy used to be a pretty good show. now it is simply a disconnect of obscure reference and intentionally offensive 'jokes'.

i stopped watching it a while ago and i can't believe they are doing a spinoff when they are already stretching for material.

  4. did you transfer or something? at SIU, i thought they handed out pot brownies and beer bongs when you pick up your books.

nope, i'm still totally at siu.

Cuddle parties? I guess I went to the wrong school.

    As Simon LeBon said, "Damn."

someone referenced simon lebon the other day and it made me smile...all i could say was 'damn.'

  5. I remember when there were a couple of competing boards for alt.country bands, 2000 or 2001. There was one board I was scared to post on but they were a funny bunch and I remember some crossover in the early days of ViaChicago and this other board. Particularly when TweedyGurl first started posting. I remember the people on the other board thought she was someone having a laugh and she had to really convince everyone she was who she was.

those were the good ol' days!

does anyone still have their 'i believe in tweedy's girl' t-shirts?

  6. Yep! What a great time up there. I so clearly remember FrOnk's exchange with the security guy...

Security Guy: "No knives allowed in the venue... do you have any knives on you, sir?"

    FrOnk: "No."

    *guy frisks FrOnk*

    Security Guy: "Well, what's this?"

    FrOnk. "A knife."

    that is hilarious.
