I have a PRS Santana SE (2000 or 2001 model) Ibanez K-7 Signature 7-string guitar. B.C. Rich Warlock guitar. I also have a crappy handed down acoustic. I use a Fender Cyber Deluxe amp. It is 65 watt with a bunch of built in effects. I have a Dunlop Wah-Wah Pedal. I also have a Digitech Signature Series pedal. It has 7 effects on it. I use Regular Slinky Stings and Dunlop Pics. I think that is about it... Peace

He uses a pic with this song. He hits the root notes of the chord, and strums the rest of the chord. It is kind of tough to get down. I have trouble getting it down. Practice make perfect though. Peace

Capo on the 2nd fret... He holds an A chord with his first finger, and hammers on with his 2nd finger or Middle Finger. (So bar all 3 strings with your first finger for the A.) (h) Hammer On --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- --------------------------- --0-1-0--2-0-3-0-4------ --------------------------- --2------------------------ --2----------------------- He hits the A string the hardest for it to stand out over the chord. --2------------------------ --0-----------2----------- ------0(h)2-----0(h)2

I will work on it this weekend. The only version I have of it is from Jeff's solo show on 3/5/05. So I will be working on that version of it. Peace

No Problem. I knew it for a while. It was just relearning it and tabbing it out. Peace

Capo 2nd fret. (this is off of the 3/05/05 show) -----------------------0-------------- ----2--0------0---2------------------ He does this first then goes to the next one. Instead of open on the first ----------2--------------------------- string it is 2nd fret. He does it 2x. -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- -----------------------2-------------- ----2--0------0---2------------------ ----------2--------------------------- -------------------------------------- -------------------------------------

Just found a great site for tunings. Click Enjoy!

Thanks. I am slowly falling behind on the new internet lingo. Peace

-------0------ -------2------ -------3------ -------0------ -------0------ -------0------ Here one chord. You can move it all the way up the neck. You just have to bar all the stinrgs.
-
I feel stupid but what does IMO stand for??

I have heard things about firefox. Is it better than internet explorer?

One open tuning is: DGDGBD ( you drop the 6th, 5th, and 1st string down a whole step) This what the Rolling Stones use for Brown Sugar. Led Zeppelin used it for Dancing Days. I am not about any Wilco song. Here is a site for chords and it will walk you through some stuff. Click Here is a site with pretty much every major minor and seventh chords. Click Hopes this helps. Peace

Alright I know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knew a name of a band. It is a Jazz Trio and the lead singer players guitar and he does these huge solos while singing every note he is playing. He plays with a bass player and piano. They were on Conan about a month ago. They also played on a Bob Newhart thing playing his three favorite songs. I know this is a long shot, but doesn't hurt maybe some watched it. Thanks, Peace, Brett

Check out some Pearl Jam stuff. Some of the songs have great solos. They use the blues scale a lot. They also have some great guitar parts.
-
What kind of music do you listen to? (Other than Wilco) I can maybe tell you some songs that can be tough.

go check out theguitarguy.com its a great site with alot of old jazz standards and will give you a real appreciation for some of the older stuff........ Thanks a lot! This site is awesome for jazz stuff. Just what I was looking for.

I am looking for some songs to start out with. Since Jazz has some chords I don't know yet.....What are some easier songs to learn, to get some of the chords down? I have been playing for about 4 years so I know a lot of chords and would like any advice for some good songs. Thanks a lot! Peace
