wonder how long before refurbished touch ipods make their way to apple.com

I'm tempted to grab a new touch ipod, and think that 8GB would be plenty of room. I really don't need access to EVERYTHING I own.... Is the wi-fi capabilities on the ipod's different then from the iphone?

the iphone as it is right now with their exclusive contract with AT&T makes it impossible for me to consider, as the range of service here in Madison and greater WI blows.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think this album BLOWS! I'm super disappointed.
