  1. Updated: Judging by YouTube videos, he plays it with a capo on the 5th fret. So...

    Capo: 5th Fret

    Am

By the end of the bout, he was punched out

    D

    Fists capsized, muscles shouting

    G G/F# G/F C

    Deeper down

    Cm G

He felt the insult of a kiss

Still trying to figure out the chords for the instrumental parts.

  2. thanks for posting that. I was starting to think I'm the only one who's bugged by this song (especially the backing vocals)... I guess there are two of us. :dontgetit

    I'll third that.

What Light was the single from SBS, now You Never Know is this album's single. Someone needs to tell these guys that "catchy" and "annoying" are not synonymous.

  3. upon watching kingpin, i feel embarrassed of that crowd. it wasnt a wilco show, it was a tweedy show, so shut up. i saw him a few years ago in grand rapids and it was silent and captive the entire time, helping make for one of the best shows ive been to.

jeff was clearly annoyed in the clip, waiting to get the hell out of there.

that being said, all of those people at kzoo paid for their tickets, i suppose they can do what they want.

  4. The show was incredible. My friend and I ended up being front row, which was closer than I ever imagined we would be.

The first band, Everest, was terrible.

Wilco started slow, and after Jeff ran off stage during the noise end of IATTBYH to presumably throw up, they started to get going. Jeff later said he was battling a stomach bug, and that he was "gonna kill that damn bug."

Impossible Germany was probably the highlight of their set.

During a lull in the action, I yelled "Wilco: The Song!" That drew a chuckle from the band.

Needless to say, Wilco could not compare to the power that is Neil. His presence on stage is incredible; you just cannot take your eyes off of him. Highlights for me were Hey Hey, My My and A Day in the Life.

  5. I was at the show and I was about 15 feet from the stage . They sounded great and I totally disagree with your view. Nels Cline was spectacular on guitar and Jeff and the rest of the band were splendid. From my vantage point the sound was superb.

just curious, how long did you have to wait in line to get 15 feet from the stage?
