Good Job. It took me a little while before I got the intro down exactly like Jeff plays it, but just embellish as much as you can during that opening part. It's a good song to take your time with. My vocal approach is usually more like Jeffs, but it was interesting hearing somebody actually "sing" it, if you know where I'm coming from.
Yeah, it is a tricky little intro to master. This was the first time I performed it live I think, so I am sure I did not do my best. I also moved it up to F# to better suit my vocal range. Glad you enjoyed!

This is video of a show I did in Holland, Michigan in November 2005 covering "Remember the Mountain Bed." It is a bit dated, but you get the idea. Enjoy!

And how about one in Detroit rather than out the burbs and school towns I can't really make it too without taking time off of work. Ann Arbor? Pass it this year. Instead do a couple (wishful thinking) right downtown at the State Theater. That would rock!
I completely agree!

i'm looking for the band covering the song "walk on," anyone have it handy? thanks in advance!

it sounds like the writer does not like tweedy; doesnt it seem like he has a sarcastic tone to him?

I heard "Diamond Claw" on a segment of "All Things Considered; NPR."
-
I heard there were some clips online when the movie was released of scenes that did not make the final cut. If this is true, does anyone have links to these? Or maybe could post them on Youtube?

That was quick! After a few listens, I think i prefer the studio version. Something about it; I think it has a pretty solid groove.

I have yet to hear the original Panthers; only the studio version. I really like the studio recording, but could anyone supply an older live recording of the song?

I was, also, under the impression that

I'm still having some issues. I click the extras icon, and the quicktime thing pops up with all the songs, I click on one, and the same song menu thing opens up in my browser. I click on a song again, and (in Firefox) it opens up the directory that the "extras" icon is in, in the drive that the dvd is in. In Internet Explorer, it just shows "test". Neither browser lets me download the songs.
Is it being overloaded, or am I doing something wrong?
Edit: Okay, so it doesn't open up in my browser anymore, and appears to be working. Never mind!
This is still happening for me. Any suggestions?

Has anyone been able to download the tracks off of the DVD yet? The menu comes up for me with a listing of the tracks, but when I click on them nothing happens.

mmm, i like. thanks a lot!

This show is so lovely. ))))) Why do you guys think Wilco is so big in the DC area??
I think NPR often streams from DC because it is the closest to their office.
-
Anyone here planning on attending? And anyone have an idea about ticket prices? I have not seen anything about that.
-
thanks for pointing that out!
-
Could anyone help me out with it? I have no clue, save for the fact it is in Open G.
-
Hey now, they're sharp dressed guys! I think it's a fair question.
-
Where do you think the members of Wilco shop for their clothing?
-
Has this song ever been on an actual release of any kind? And was it written by Jeff? These are the answers I seek.

so far, not a curve ball to my ears. you can very much hear the transition from AGIB to this, especially through the bands live shows the past few years.
