Tell me your top 10 favorite bands and also what percentage of their musical output you like*... 1. R.E.M. -95% (I can do without most of Around the Sun and Reveal) 2. Radiohead-93% (a few song misteps but I still dig almost everything. Radiohead in my mind has some of the best B-sides of all time) 3. Wilco-90% (Wilco the Album and Sky Blue Sky has a few duds...but don't worry I forgive them ) 4. The Cure-88% (they got an off the wall mid 80's career but I appreciate the strange stuff and what they were aiming for) 5. Blur-87% (Great Escape..mostly meh...in mind mind though second best B-si

Pay no mind to those fools! I think it is great liking a band that is not as popular or known. One of the benefits is you don't get as tired of the hits because there are none. Most of the bands I like couldn't fill up a 500 capacity venue in NYC but I don't care. It is more like a private concert when i do see them. I am a huge fan of the Charlatans UK and very few people know who they are. They did an instore in NYC and 25 people where there....it didn't bother me one bit because I got to hang with the band and get my request in. People constantly don't know most of the bands that I like.

Yeah..he does...well at least back in 2005 when i asked him if they ever planned on playing it again. He said...I hate that song..I made fun of Jeff for it. That is what he told me at least! He must have lost a bet recently or something

Wow... Say You Miss Me, Magazine, Nothingsever, Lonely 1, Hotel Arizona (which Glenn hates!)....best setlist of last few years non livingroom shows imho! It is even nice they brought back Wilco (the song)...

I have not seen it yet but I hear it is rolling out this week. I use facebook and I am usually amuzed wasting time on facebook but the idea of the timeline function gives me the creeps...I think it is a little too personal. Maybe I am paranoid but I don't believe everyone needs a timeline of my life as I don't need one of yours.... Yes I know only post stuff that you are comfortable with and I do...anyway I think it may be time for me to pull the plug on fb? Anyone else feel the same? On another note I heard insurance companies are spying on people on facebook, etc to get social media scores

I would go Bachelor Magnolia Stupid Lost in Space Forgotten Smilers Whatever

Incedible and overwhelming. It is hard to take in 45 songs in one night but there were many, many highlights! The band sounded great. I loved the Three Imaginary Boys set as they sounded like a punk band. The 17 seconds album was also a treat hearing the keyboards being more prominent. Faith was also incredible. I really appricated Simon Gallups bass work throughout the night but here espically. Before the show I bought a $20 tour tshirt! Woot! Great night...thanks for asking..i can't wait for the DVD to relive the expierecne!

Here is some GBV news... http://www.brooklynv...y_voice_17.html Yeah I am not sure it is the Whigs fault but who knows... all I know is I have been hoping the Whigs would reunite. I caught them on the 1965 Tour..I went to the show knowing 1 song and left as a big fan!
-
Why is at GBV expense? I have seen both GBV and Whigs back in the 90's GBV is fun and all but the Whigs is one of my all time favorite concert expierences! Have you seen the Whigs before?
