  1. Even Kiefer himself admitted last season sucked, but this upcoming season had a lot of promise with disbanding CTU, and the reuturn of Almeda. Damnit, winter is just gonna seem much longer now.

How are they going to bring back Tony? Didn't he die, on camera? :rolleyes

  2. Darn...I knew Jessy was touring with the Foos. Sorry I missed seeing her up with that big crowd they had... :ohwell She's really a beautiful girl and a great musician..

  3. I haven't heard/of Everybodyfields, but I'll third it: Jill Andrews is stunning.

She's also very sweet in person...

I love the Everybodyfields....they had a new record this year too...very good

  4. I thought the Hanukkah Fairy was hilarious! then again I am not religious by any stretch of the imagination and would not get offended easily by such antics. I'm not sure if Aimee and Paul did the antics on Jesus and getting saved at your show, but it was pretty ballsy and pushed the envelope as much as the Hanukkah Fairy.

Did Nelly do the Rudolph song with the Rudolph stocking at the Chicago show. That I found to be absolutely bizarre and wondered about her "crazy" levels. :)

No, we didn't get either one of those skits....guess we got shortchanged! :unsure The whole show was a lot of fun though...the audience was really into it too.. Aimee sounded terrific, no cold symptoms yet.

  5. I saw her in Chicago a week ago today. It was really a fun show, enjoyed it immensely and it was before her cold overtook her . What did you think of the Hanukkah Fairy? I read somewhere it offended some people, but I found it funny, kind of what Aimee's humor is like.

  6. I don't know...maybe it was just in your area, but I heard the roar of the crowd constantly. I sang at the top of my lungs throughout. I even clapped.

First, Wow, what a great night of music! Something for every Wilco fan....

Yeah, everyone was standing from the start and singing in our area too...section 205...but there was a couple in front of me (even though they stood) who came in late, and left early (thankfully) and talked constantly during the show and didn't clap once...ughhh... it was so annoying, I was so glad when they left, plus it gave me a better view... :thumbup

but, enough grumbling.... Such a GREAT show, the mix of old and new sounded perfect! The setting; gorgeous, sound; the same, weather; loved it!....Awesome setlist, awesome band, I LOVE Wilco. My brother got his request (Casino Queen) :cheers

I sure hope this was recorded because I would love a copy, and a DVD would be even better! The place was so spread out that I didn't see many familiar faces, saw Aimee when we were leaving and noticed Louie walking down the aisle at one point, but that was it. Hope you all had a fun time!

  7. Incidently I saw Mark last night and he was excellent. Great little band with him, but a very small crowd at Schubas.

Hi Louie! We saw Mark on Mon night and really enjoyed the show! I hear the crowd was a little bigger last night, so you can imagine how small it was Mon night.........I felt bad for them. His band is really good, he commented to me after the show how this is the best band he's had (I hope he wasn't counting the Jayhawks in there....I'm sure he wasn't). That Michele from Italy the fiddle player was excellent, I couldn't take my eyes off him. Quite the performer! I'm glad you enjoyed the show!

  8. We saw the show at Old Town on Sat. night. Also say Louie waiting outside. I guess he didn't make it in. :( It was a wonderful show! I can't repeat how much I loved it. Beautiful songs, beautiful harmonies, and Glen has such a powerful voice, first time I'd seen him in person, he was great! Marketa is a cutie, very shy, but they were both very nice after the show, signing and talking with us. Loved his story-telling between songs and the accent.... :)

I know all their shows are sold out, but hopefully they'll come back to the US soon.

  9. well, damn, was on exactly at 10, but after going through all the passwords, etc. it says I've got multiple accounts running, I guess because I got a message the first time saying something I don't even know what now, but anyway, wasn't able to get anything, wasn't looking for lawn seats.

You know, I really miss the old days before every f***ing person on the planet was looking for tickets! Sorry new fans! Well, I've seen Wilco once this year, guess that must be my limit........... It's easier now to get Rolling Stones or Bruce Springsteen tickets! WTF! Sorry for the rant people, but I hate TM and all the pre pre pre sales!

Well, here I am replying to my own post. I did try again today and got section 205 seats, row NN. While I know they're not the best, I'm happy just to be in the pavillion. It will be my first time there and also at Millenium Park! Being from way out of Chicago, we're just never been there before...

Sorry to anyone I offended yesterday with my rant. :blush It's always so hectic ordering on line, I don't know if you all are the same as me, but I get shaking and really tense trying to find tickets..... That doesn't excuse my language, nor the fact that I was dissing new fans. I'm so glad Wilco is drawing new fans (and younger fans) all the time. That's a very good thing! So anyway, looking forward to the show and my apologies to everyone..... :cheekkiss

I don't mind the price of tickets at all and I love the fact that Wilco donates their time and talents to charities. It is very cool of them. Bravo Wilco :thumbup
