  1. well, damn, was on exactly at 10, but after going through all the passwords, etc. it says I've got multiple accounts running, I guess because I got a message the first time saying something I don't even know what now, but anyway, wasn't able to get anything, wasn't looking for lawn seats.

You know, I really miss the old days before every f***ing person on the planet was looking for tickets! Sorry new fans! Well, I've seen Wilco once this year, guess that must be my limit........... It's easier now to get Rolling Stones or Bruce Springsteen tickets! WTF! Sorry for the rant people, but I hate TM and all the pre pre pre sales!

  2. I know exactly who you are We have been at many shows together......I assumed you were from Chicago. Which town south of Joliet? I have traveled the entire state as part of my job. I can't wait to retire. I have 6 more years...yea!!!LouieB

Well, pretty far south of Joliet I guess.....Dwight, home of the Women's Prison.. :yeaahh

  3. Okay you got me......at least by that time I will be retired, I hope....which other bands?? Where in IL..I have been all over the state....come on..cut loose with some person info....

Hey Louie, We've met (well sorta) at some Wilco shows, also big Jayhawks fan. Saw you at the Golden Smog show last Sept at the Vic. :) Also ran into you at Laurie's last year, and at the Old Town School. We live south of Joliet....and even with the age thing and distance from Chicago, we get around quite a bit. So you see all you youngsters, there's hope for your later years... ;)

It's also very nice to be retired... :thumbup

  4. really...somehow I doubt that..I am 57...but it is possible i suppose.LouieBShe has me beat...this is true.LouieB

ding, ding, ding! We have a winner.... Sorry to say, but I am 67... :ohwell Most of the time I don't feel it though....although there are some days, but I do love Wilco, among other bands :music :)

  5. btw. can anybody upload the show onto a site such as megaupload, sendspace, mediafire, etc. for those whose computers "have issues" with torrent programs. (long story that I would prefer not to repeat) That would be amazing.

I know it's a lot to ask, but I would LOVE this too...... :worship

  6. He'll be joined by Megan Hickey of The Last Town Chorus next week:

    JUNE

27th, Louisville. WFPK Waterfront Wednesday. Megan is honored to join Mark Olson to sing harmonies with him and play lap steel.

29, Philadelphia. WXPN Free At Noon, World Cafe Live. Listen live online. Megan is honored to join Mark Olson to sing harmonies with him and play lap steel.

Wow! Those should be great shows. I like Megan a lot. It would be wonderful if she would accompany him at the Schubas shows in Chicago.... :yes

  7. I downloaded and saved it, then played it, but it quit (twice) just before Jesus, etc. (when Jeff is talking to the guy with crutches)...... got the same message about codec.....

I finally got past that point and watched the rest though, not sure how I did it, I think I just got lucky!

It looked and sounded really great! :P

    Thanks for posting the link..

  8. as long as someone records the Wilco stream, it'll be easy to get a copy from here or other online sites... enjoy the show!

Hey thanks froggie! I sure as heck hope someone records the stream. :worship

I'll start begging for a copy now!

  9. I have a question - Wilco will be streamed at 5:30 tomorrow. I'm going to a show and won't be able to see it.... :heartbroken

Will these performances be archived (all of them) on this AT&T blue room site? I sure hope so. I would love to see it if possible :cheers

I'm really enjoying some of these performances!

  10. They were supposed to play What Light, Heavy Metal Drummer, Poor Places, and one other I can't remember. Maybe it was California Stars.

Well, damn the fight(ers) or whatever shortened the show... :angry, although I must say it was pretty great as it was.... I did hear them soundchecking Heavy Metal Drummer, so I kept waiting for it...

Donna, it was great meeting you last night! See, I was right, I win (although it's no prize) :o (inside joke between the two of us)...

Also very nice to see Sooz, Brianne (you look fantastic!), Paul (and someone else I'm forgetting your name), at least to wave at or have a brief "hi". It's just not the same going to these shows where they are seated and you don't get to wait outside in line (where all the socializing goes on)....

I did love our 6th row seats, the closest I've been at a Wilco show lately. I loved the energy of the band (and the crowd too) how they looked so happy and how good the new songs sound live. My son was with me and it was his first Wilco show although he has the records, but he was very impressed with the live show.

Here's to a Chicago show in the near future! :thumbup

  11. Just wondering when/if there is going to be a pre-sale for Davenport.....

I keep checking Wilco's site and no news......hmmm.....this show is before the others and they've already had pre-sales. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.... :ohwell

  12. Has a copy of this show surfaced yet? The talk between songs is worth checking out, some of the funniest stuff ever. I hope no one edits it out.

    LouieB

I'm anxiously awaiting this as well, especially since we weren't able to attend. :ohwell

It sounds like a night to remember!
