I'm going, and I'm terribly excited. Haven't been back to Athens since I graduated in 98. And it's in the same theater where I saw the Roots, Violent Femmes, Carrot Top (yikes), and Barry Williams (more yikes).

Why did you choose BMI?

I've decided to do things a bit more professionally (with the anticipation of a debut release this spring). So I'm looking into joining one of these organizations (or one like them). Can anyone toss me a line here? Pros? Cons? Benefits? Any and all help is much appreciated.

I've secured a monthly engagement at a local coffee shop. One section of my show includes some songs about pie: "Pecan Pie," "Country Pie," and I've even played "Pieholden Suite." I got two free downloads from iTunes because of some tickets I bought, but I've never used iTunes. I downloaded the software and set up an account. Now I'd like to get "Let's Not Get Carried Away." However, even in the shopping cart view, there's no place in input a promotional code. It will only let me buy it outright. I'm sure there are several of you who can help me with this, so I thank you in advance.
