I have a spare ticket that I am selling at face value + the service fees ($99 + $4 = $103). The show is on Saturday, October 9th at 7:30 PM at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts. Ticket is in PDF form, so I can either send it electronically in advance, or print it and meet you at the venue. Seat is in the Loge, Row T, Seat 4.

Hello everybody, I've been out of touch with the Wilco scene for a little while now, but a few recent magazine articles, etc. have me curious about the direction of the next album. Are there links to any live versions floating around? Much appreciated.

Anybody else ever feel like strangling Dan Bejar? On each new NP album, I know there will be at least three songs that I will automatically skip...

I second the Springsteen meets Talking Heads analysis. I just don't get the same sense of exuberance that infused Funeral.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Have you heard the version from the 10/19/01 show in Boston? That's the definitive recording for me... I can post it if anybody doesn't have it.

I only have 'Songs of Pain' and just can't get past the poor sound quality (this coming from a lover of early Mountain Goats). Are all of his albums as, ahem, "low-fi"?
