Excellent! There's some great beers there. The bottled beer versions of them are great. -
Just to get ready for my works christmas party tonight...

I could real off a whole host of beers, but I doubt they make it across the Atlantic... But, if you ever find yourself in the UK check out: London Pride Young's Special Brains SA Theakstons Old Peculiar Austell's Tribute One beer I had in San Diego when I went over that I loved was Red Trolley... a local, microbrewery beer. Very nice. -

Surprises Iron & Wine - Shepherds Dog: Didn't get I&W prior to this, but just fell in love with this from the first moment I pressed play. Marvellous. LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver: Didn't like the debut album apart from "Daft Punk..." but once again, from the first play I was completely bowled over by it. Battles - Went from nowhere, on my radar at least, to my new favourite band. Gutted I missed them live, twice, this year, but I will see them. Babyshambles: Woah... off the crack (maybe) and with a strong producer has made one of the great indie-pop records of the year.

Yeah, the Robert Wyatt is great, I just kept on forgetting about it. It was only seeing him on Jools Holland recently that reminded me about it... the man rules. Something a little different: They've got a new album coming out next year

Most of the good stuff, i.e. There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, Juno doesn't get UK releases until 2008 unfortunately. I didn't get to the cinema quite as much as I usually do this year, which is a shame. However, my favourites were definitely The Bourne Ultimatum and The Darjeeling Limited. I did like Atonment, but thought it lacked something to make it truely great. Biggest disappointment: Rescue Dawn - Werner Herzog devoid of everything he was.
