jhc
Aside from his P90-equipped SG, does anyone know what Jat used in his guitar rig?
a.miller
Nope. But I do wonder if the Bigsby-style tremolo on the SG in IATTBYH is after market, or if it is stock.
ginandcigarettes
I've seen him with a Tele that looks an awful lot like a 52 reissue, a gold top Les Paul, and Epiphone Casinos with and without Bigsby tremolos. Mmmm... Ephiphone Casinos... Also, Jay's SGs come in both single (Junior) and double pickup versions (careful study of IATTBYH reveals this). Interestingly enough, both with vibrolas. Pecan_Pie
He also uses a Gibson ES-330 i think... it's identical to the Casino other than the fact taht it's gibson.
jhc
Any idea what amp(s) he uses?
Pecan_Pie
Ac30s I know he uses and I'm pretty sure he used a Fender Twin too.
ginandcigarettes
Any idea what amp(s) he uses? From IATTBYH, he has a tweed Fender Bandmaster (I've played through one once and it was the coolest amp EVER). When I saw him solo with Edward Burch, Jay was playing through one. BigWheeledWagon
I read an article somewhere in which Jay said that he and Jeff both used a Line 6 emulating amp for a lot of the songs on Summerteeth. I was a little surprised, given his love for vintage gear.
