rzback543
Forgot to post this the other day and havent seen it on here yet. The other Lucero post reminded me. http://www.muzzleofbees.com/2006/07/10/gav...t-away-from-me/ I am really enjoying it. Very Springsteen-ish. Nice addition of some piano. Edit here is another song. LouisvilleGreg
I've been a Lucero fan for quite a few years now and have enjoyed many shows. Do you folks think they have peaked in popularity or can they get much bigger?

Do you folks think they have peaked in popularity or can they get much bigger?Lucero has the potential to be much bigger. Nobody's Darlings only sold like 16,000 copies. I bought one. I always buy CDs by little bands like this. Record companies need to know that a hard touring band like Lucero deserves studio time and promotion.

TheMaker
Nobody's Darlings was my introduction to this band, so I'm still feeling my way through their back catalogue. Man, talk about Good Old Fashioned Rock 'n' Roll's best-kept secret. These new songs are blowing away everything on the last disc pretty easily.

vanator
Hey folks..... I've listened to the entire new Lucero album and it's incredibly good.I promise you won't be disappointed when it hits the shelves. The instrumentation and song-writing keep improving, which is great.I don't think they've peaked in popularity by any means..... although I don't know what it'll take to push them over the cusp. I figure it'll be something like Modest Mouse where they consistently put out incredible albums and then one just blows up (like MM's Good News album....) because of a single song. Definitely buy the album when it comes out, and get your friends to do so as well. They absolutely deserve some more recognition.... In the interest of disclosure, the link posted above is from my blog, by the way:http://macktronic.blogspot.com/2006/07/mus...s-sworn_14.html

Spawn's dad
since women get whatever they want blue balls don't come into play. you can use your feminine wiles to score the album
