Beltmann
I used to have a terrific free audio converter that handled all sorts of different files (not FLAC), but I lost the software when my PC crashed a few months back. Anyone have a recommendation for a simple replacement?

froggie
i like this one: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
farva
MKW is good, but dbPowerAmp will convert virtually anything to anything ... you have to download some plug-ins to add certain audio formats (iTunes M4A, for example), but once you have everything you need you're set for good.
