Could someone point me to some live Jon Brion recordings?

The Tonic recordings are not only excellent quality, they're very representative of his shows from the last couple of years, including his new unreleased songs and his choice of covers.

Of the older recordings, 12-17-99 has a special place in my heart, as it was my first Jon Brion show, but overall, it's just a fun, fun gig.

Sincerely,

"I was wondering if you'd say a prayer for a friend of mine...His name is Jon Brion, sometimes when he is onstage what happens is a lull, you know what a lull is?"

That's one of my favs as well. The Tonic shows are what pneyu got me started on, and I highly recommend those. There's a set of his at the Bumbershoot music festival on Dime at the moment, but some of the banter is edited out.
