nicburto
i just downloaded a copy of dvdxcopy and tried to unsuccessfully burn a dvd. does anyone use this program? It went through the whole process of copying and finalizing, but the dvd won't read in a computer or a regular dvd player. I looked at the disc and it looked full as well. Any ideas? thanks,Nick

Duck-Billed Catechist
Are the video files in the right folder?
nicburto
I DID notice that there were no files in the audio file after it had been ripped. But there were plenty of files in the video folder

But there were plenty of files in the video folder dont know the exact answer, but the audio folder usually never has files in it. there's a stack of vob, bup and whatever files in the video folder. i've gotten a few dvds that dont even have an audio folder when i extract them and they work fine
a.miller
get dvdshrink and if you have nero installed it will rip, compress and burn a backup dvd. Nero should also be able to burn video files if you're actually making a dvd.
nicburto
okay, i'll try it out thanks :-)
a.miller
It's been my experience that if you don't have nero installed before you install dvdshrink, it will not work. Just a head's up.

muller
If you're burning DVD video files there is no better program for ease of use than Clone DVD 2 Use this with DVD Dycryptor (a free download) - to rip the DVD. I reckon you can get Clone DVD off of any torrent site.
nicburto
If you're burning DVD video files there is no better program for ease of use than Clone DVD 2 Use this with DVD Dycryptor (a free download) - to rip the DVD. I reckon you can get Clone DVD off of any torrent site. I downloaded both of these - so I use dvd decryptor to rip it and then Clone dvd to burn it? I tried ripping a dvd that was dual layered in dvd decrypt and it ripped both layers into the iso file - is there a way to just rip part of it (like the layer that has the actual movie)? Thanks for your help guys, for some reason this has been difficult for me.
