FourStrongWinds
does anyone have this?? and is it worth getting
WilcoFan
I just finally borrowed it from my buddy. If you're looking for some really cool Wilco material, I think you will be disappointed. They are in there but its definitely more about Woody Gutherie and Billy Bragg. -- Narrated by his daughter. I think the movie could have been better if it were a little longer and more detailed. So Long
I own it... there's not a lot of Wilco, but there is a cool performance of Hoo Doo Voo Doo...
caliber66
I'm a big fan, but as has been said, don't go into it thinking it's a Wilco-centric DVD.
Guest Jules
If you just want to see the Wilco performance parts, check youtube. I think I've seen every clip on there at some point. (Most recently, Jeff and Jay doing 'Another Man Done Gone').

socbret
If you just want to see the Wilco performance parts, check youtube. I think I've seen every clip on there at some point. (Most recently, Jeff and Jay doing 'Another Man Done Gone').I uploaded that. I can put Hoodoo Voodoo, At My Window Sad And Lonely, and When The Roses Bloom Again up there. With the exception of the first half hour or so, I think there is plenty of Wilco material in there to warrant a purchase.
ction
All I remember from watching this movie a while ago is that Woody Guthrie's daughter had an obvious crush on Billy Bragg.

Hodie
The Wilco content is GREAT -- if you like the Mermaid Avenue songs, it's definitely worth owning the dvd for. You can always skip over the Guthrie/Bragg parts if you don't like them. I think Man in the Sand's version of When the Roses Bloom Again is one of the best I've ever heard.
