I was stirred awake this morning around 11 by the UPS man dropping off my SBS stuff.

Also in Oklahoma and glad to finally have the CD & DVD in my hands.

 

It was overcast when I left for work this afternoon. I put the CD in and heard "Maybe the sun will shiiiiine ..." Sure enough, the sun broke through about the time I got to the title track. Sky Blue Sky. How appropriate.

 

I'm making my way through the DVD at the office instead of working (seriously, who could focus on work at a time like this??) The DVD is just beautiful. I'll be watching this many, many times.

 

And we still have the Letterman performance to look forward to. This is like Christmas in May. Count me as a happy Wilco fan today.

Another note on the DVD ... Somehow I thought it was just going to be a series of songs being rehearsed at the Loft like we saw in the "Hate It Here" clip. But there is lots of commentary and shots at other locations. What a pleasant surprise. Wilco never lets me down.
