Bri-Bri
Sorry if this has already been posted (I couldn't find it anywhere), but according to Jim DeRogatis at the Sun-Times, Wilco is expected to announce a summer show at none other than the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. That could be amazing. Original Article For those of you can't access the article, it's all about Lollapalooza (and the Chicago summer concerts), and Wilco is only mentioned in the very last line. LouieB
A gig at Millenium park would be nice and free. LouieB

I guess I was thinking about the famous 4th of July concert from a few years back and the fact that everything else I have ever seen there was free. LouieB
watchtower41
HELL yes. This would easily be the concert of the summer.
Dude
Radiohead made an unsuccessful bid to play Millenium Park last year. They were shot down due to the "noise" pollution the local residents feared and the fact that the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra had a rehearsal that night. The real reason was they probably didn't pay enough payola to Chicago City Hall. Here's the story: http://www.ateaseweb.com/news/archive/2006..._drowns_out.php
WaronWar
I think it's going to be free because The Decemberists are playing a free show with the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra in June. So why not Wilco having a free concert?
OOO
Maybe they got their info from my suggestion last month: how about millenium park ampitheater?
