radiocure618
cnn.com report Yesterday, my Xbox 360 randomly had the "flashing red light" problem. Has this happened to anyone else?
anodyne
it's not surprising. what is surprising is microsoft extending the warranty for three years. it's a microsoft box! within weeks of the initial sales, consoles were overheating to the point where a VERY popular accessory is a fan that plugs onto the back of the 360. Jay
It happened to me but I had bought a replacement plan at Best Buy so they sent me a gift card for $425, which I used to buy a Wii.

a.miller
I made a really fancy shmancy cooling apparatus out of a number of PC case fans that cycles A LOT more air through the vents and also under the 360. No red lights yet, thank God. I got the best buy policy also. PS -- any Xbox 360 players should totally buy that new Forza Motosport 2 game. It is sooo much fun, even (like me) if you're not into cars.
