stooka
My daughter and her man are moving to Dayton, Ohio on Oct. 1.Other than having an Air Force base and Wright State Univ, I know almost nothing about this town. What's the lowdown?
foolnrain97
Depends on where they lived before. There's certainly plenty to do, and its an easy drive to Columbus or Indianapolis. There are a lot of disc golf courses in the area. That's all I got(it's been a few years since I spent a substantial amount of time in that area).
anodyne
there's some REALLY shady parts of that town, but most of the burbs are alright. they still have kroger's grocery stores, which always seems weird to me since all the kroger's closed around here in the late 70s/early 80s. there's only a couple live music venues, one of which (elbos) is on the edge of the hip area with the decent record stores and expensive bars. they have decent transit. stooka
Thanks for the input so far. ps - I also couldn't find a Southwest flight that get's very close, so it looks like connection worries are gonna be an issue.
