naugrad
Set aside a little extra $$ to park the car.....costs more than a ticket to the gig!

virtualreason
The neighborhood around The Rave just looks rough, but it's relatively safe. And there is TONS of parking around the place. Just to be safe, I wouldn't leave your iPhone on the front seat with the windows down.
justlouise
I've been to hundreds of concerts from coast to coast, and the Rave is the only place ever that my car was broken into. They broke a window, tossed the car like a salad and took all my toll change, less than $2. That was it. Jerks.
H.Stone
Looks like I'll be allowing time for moderate walk to the venue...

indy81
I can't guarantee this, but I think the $30 is for VIP Parking, which is in the front and side of the venue. It's faster to get out. Parking in the lot behind the Rave is usually cheaper...but when I say cheaper, I mean $20 instead of $30. Parking is always absurdly expensive there, especially when big acts come in. I think they take advantage of your fear of the neighborhood. But if you arrive very early, you can park right next to the venue for free. Latecomers will have a harder time, unfortunately. mardog
I've never paid to park, nor had a problem finding a spot to park there. Crappiness of neigborhood is overrated don't leave valuables out in plain view
tugmoose
I'm sure they're very nice parking spaces.
michaelcorcoran
i used to go to shows at the Rave/Eagles all the time in my Marquette days. Yes, the area is pretty rough. It's cleaned up a little bit, but you'll still have homeless guys fighting each other over who gets to wash your windows. I'd recommend parking in one of the structures around Marquette (16th & wisconsin) then walking to the rave (25th & wisco)
