kidsmoke Posted September 16, 2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 I made fast friends with this guy while having lunch on Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara, while my son Tom & I were in S.B. to see Wilco at the Santa Barbara Bowl. These photos still crack me up. Here's looking at you, kid. Also your lunch. So....you gonna eat those fries? He helped finish every scrap, with the assistance of a deep-gray, red-beaked pal who sat on the railing beside us, close enough to give me an ear exam. Every time I glanced to the left, the gray guy was staring at me from maybe 6 inches away, all intensity and devotion. The pair ate well that day. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We almost ate there, but didn't have time for a proper lunch, so we just grabbed fish & chips. Moby Dick's looked like a great place! We'll have to go there another time....maybe you could join us?
