solace
much more like the great first record rather than the somewhat disappointing second one: http://britishseapower.co.uk/mailinglistat...wnload/atom.mp3 At this point i think i still like Brakes more, but i'm excited to hear BSP's new stuff
Welsh Rich
It'll have to wait till I get home to play it, but I'm really looking forward to this. Played the debut the other day for the first time in ages and forgot just how good it was. I have a story of an embarassing meeting and drunken chat with Yan after one of their shows in a tiny venue in Cambridge, but I'll leave that for a rainy day... pnêyu
The subject line alone almost made me fall off my chair. I wish they'd come out west on that mini-tour, but hey, you can't win 'em all. And why choose? You can like both BSP and Brakes.

Azzurri
the first album is awesome ...second one was disappointing, although there are some really good songs, especially the last one - True Adventures. they are so much better when they just rock out. looking forward to hearing this new song. heard a live version and it kicked ass. can't wait to see them in NYC in Oct.
