remphish1
Yes so I did see the newly reformed Van Halen and I must admit it was an entertaining show. Eddie sounded great and Alex's playing was intense. Wolfgang did as good a job as he could have and looked confortable on stage. Dave, well he is quite the show man. He really seemed happy onstage. His antics are over the top but entertaining. He sounded good vocally and considering this is the third show of the tour I was impressed. They played all the hits you would expect as well as some lesser known jems. Check it out if you got time for it will surely provide an eveing of entertainment. Anyone else seeing them or have seen them on this tour?
cryptique
I'm seeing them at the Palace of Auburn Hills in a few weeks. I missed a few chances to see the original Roth-era lineup ~25 years ago so I'm definitely looking forward to this. I'll miss Michael Anthony, but oh well.

Sir Stewart
I'm pretty happy that I gambled and got tickets for what could have easily been (and still could be, I know) a trainwreck.
rileykill
Damn, looks pretty solid. Now I want to see this. Alas ... can't escape being a child of the 80's.
Analogman
I read something on another message board that suggested there is some trickery going on with DLR's voice.

Analogman
You can't look at the board without signing up - I think the dude was just wondering how he could sing so well all of a sudden.
borracho
he sounded pretty good when i saw him on the Sam and Dave tour a few years back... couldn't hit the high notes, but otherwise was pretty solid... not sure if there was magic involved, though...
