nettles
thought i'd brag a little, though really I'm just bored got these someone wrote Bruce Hornsby on Jackson Brownes face on the backcover, I never owned this before, listening now, it's like the Eagles if they had good songs

cryptique
someone wrote Bruce Hornsby on Jackson Brownes face on the backcover, I never owned this before, listening now, it's like the Eagles if they had good songsWhoever wrote that on the cover is an idiot. As for the Eagles connection, those guys all hung out together back in the day. Browne co-wrote "Take It Easy" and his version appears on For Everyman. I was raised on Jackson Browne ... he's an old favorite.
Mr. Heartbreak
Early Jackson Browne is great. Hell, even Running On Empty is a great album.
GtrPlyr
someone wrote Bruce Hornsby on Jackson Brownes face on the backcover. That's just the way it is. Some things will never change...
So Long
I never got into Jackson Browne, which is weird because I'm an Eagles fan. I guess having sex with Nico rules you out from being a contender in my record collection.
Welsh Rich
I like Jackson Browne, but didn't realise the Eagles connection until relatively recently. I thought I read somewhere that he's got some new material coming out shortly...
Somnambulist
If I remember correctly, he wrote a tune the Byrds did, Mae Jean Goes to Hollywood. I like the Byrds version. From what I've read, Jackson Brown was somewhat of a young prodigy with songwriting in S. California in the late 60's/early 70's. Hung out with all those Cosmic American Musicers. nettles
Yeah, I guess he was part of the laurel canyon scene. I'd say the record lives up to the hype, it's quite beautiful in a pleasant and breezy southern California way.
