cryptique
It's tinfoil-hat conspiracy theory of the looniest kind. I've sifted through a fair amount of the information on the web about this (though it's been a few years now, so my memory of it's not the best) and it's pretty much bunk. There are a few weird coincidences here and there, but much of it is wild conjecture or flat-out inaccurate, fixing the "facts" to fit the theory.
Sweet Papa Crimbo
i personally think the government knew it was going to happen, and allowed it to happen in order to declare their war on terrorism. seriously, how can you look at all the events of that day and not think something is fishy about it? it's sad that people believe everything they're told on the news. Wilco Worshipper
Well, people, like I said I was just asking what you thought...I never said who did what or anything. I was just questioning it was all. If you want to believe everything you hear and read without question, go right ahead. I just watched something from the victims' families and I definitely believe (conspiracy or not), that these poor people, as well as the public, were lied to. That you can't really question. There were cover-ups of very dumb decisions. And by covering things up, changing their answers and not directly answering questions they only make themselves LOOK more guilty. It's a damn shame... And, again, why were so many people ruffled by Clinton's personal actions as opposed to Bush's actions which affected as all?!?

rwrkb
You know you're not helping, right?!? Freud should check YOU out, my friend... of course i know i'm not helping. also, if freud examined me he'd have a massive coronary. my former roommate was a psych grad student and when i told him he should do his big research project on me, he told me it would take a team of psychologists. i've always wanted that in writing. There were definitely coverups and lots of lying. But it was all after-the-fact stuff, rather than sinister-conspiracy stuff.
Big Perm
Guys, I keep saying it, by 2012 we are all slaves to E.T., and again no one can deal with my biggest question, how do we keep VC afloat in times of Intergalactic Civil War? Remembeer the T.V. show "V"? Enough Said. Now, as slaves I believe we will all be forced to wear RED, so we should be able to gain strength in numbers by posing as a large spherical mass DOT. This is the key, okay? "If this man should fall, who will carry this flag?" __________ (you fill in the blank, after a long hard look in the mirror) The truth is out there, and Heaven is in a cotton ball

Wilco Worshipper
Is that the only alternative to not buying into 9/11 conspiracy theories? No, I just meant don't believe everything you hear and see...question authority (in ANY case, not just about this) especially people who are proven liars. Just leave room for other ideas. I haven't decided where I stand on this. I'm just gathering information and asking questions, that's all

And, again, why were so many people ruffled by Clinton's personal actions as opposed to Bush's actions which affected as all?!? I wholeheartedly agree that the investigations into the security breaches, ineptitude, in some cases, gross incompetence preceding and following the events of 9/11 were a sham, poorly handled and, in some cases, an utter joke. Bush and Cheney testifying together, without going under oath comes to mind

MrRain422
The conspiracy theories are all beyond implausible. I've seen all the videos that are supposed to prove it was an inside job, I'm familiar with the arguments. A lot of them seem fairly convincing on their face. The thing is, I'm not a physics expert by any means. I don't know very much about a lot of the subjects that are used to provide "evidence" for this. But there are a whole lot of people in this country who do know about those things, and strangely they are NOT the ones spreading these rumors. There'd be a much bigger response to this from experts rather than just anonymous people on the internet if there was anything to this. And this administration has not exactly been great about plugging up leaks -- for something like this to be plausible, there would have had to have been waaaaaay too many people involved for none of them to have spoken up by now.
