jesselne
Just listened to the entire Pink Floyd "Animals" last night, always a good experience I've always thought that animals was a severely underrated album.

Pigs (all 3) are by far the best, but I like listening to the entire album. There are some albums that are worth listening to in full (maybe that should be another thread, "Top 5 Albums to Listen to in Full" - I love my iPod, but I still love full albums). Plus, Dogs, while long, always gets the attention of both my dog and cat, which is amusing

H.Stone
Word, I've been checking out this album because of the recommendations I've seen on this board. "Skinny Love" was my initial favorite, but the horns and production on "For Emma" are something I just can't get over right now. Justin Vernon was in high school when I student taught and was a judge for a Battle of the Bands in which Mt. Vernon (Vernon's band pre-DeYarmond Edison and pre-Bon Iver) was the easy winner. He's incredibly talented. 1. Fading Fast--Kelly Willis2. Acuff-Rose--J. Tweedy, living room recording3. Old Showstoppers--New Pornographers4. Tear-Stained Eye--Son Volt5. Oh So Quiet--Bjork
