benjamin
I met a lovely lady who looked like Anne Hathaway this last weekend.
ponch1028
It wasn't that good. But it wasn't worse than Elizabethtown. Watched 1/2 of it this past weekend and had to shut it off. The worse film I've watched in quite awhile.

jenbobblehead
I liked TDWP. I liked the soundtrack of Elizabethtown better than the actual film.
isadorah
i think meryl streep actually won an oscar for The Devil Wears Prada. the fashion is pretty great in it.
Spawn's dad
I'm thinking if she won an oscar for the fashion someone should have read the credits!
isadorah
I'm thinking if she won an oscar for the fashion someone should have read the credits! i just double checked it. Meryl was nominated for best acress, Helen Mirren won best actress for the queen. the fashion comment was more of an aside. i thought there was great fashion in that movie. it had nothing to do with oscars or actresses. although the movie actually did get nominated for best costume. Marie Antionette won though. those costumes were pretty amazing. especially the shoes.
Spawn's dad
sorry, I was just joshing, you know?
Mrs. Peel
The movie really bothered me for one reason...we were supposed to believe Anne Hathaway was unattractive because she didn't have designer clothes and wore her hair in a pony tail. Then once she dressed in thousand dollar shoes and let her hair down she was a bombshell. It's the same thing with movies like She's All That or whatever it was called, where Freddie Prinze Jr. bet someone that he could take the ugly girl and make her beautiful, which required taking her hair out of the elastic band, taking her glasses off, and putting her in a prom dress. Ridiculous.
