Edie
Interesting... linky And the 9/12 show at Pritzker was #3 concert, and What Light was #2 song Even though they are a home town band, they "beat" Radiohead, Springsteen and other perennial winners.
lamradio
Awesome! Now if SBS could just win that Grammy.. We'll see.. They deserve it.
Edie
This also might explain why the Riv shows sold out so damn fast.
lamradio
This also might explain why the Riv shows sold out so damn fast. Yeah, and most of their other shows too. It's pretty cool to see SOLD OUT in red on the website. I know Charleston is sold out because you can't get tickets.. Even though it doesn't say it on the site yet. Good for Wilco! Guest David Puddy
happy to see SBS top the list, but i have to be honest, i think What Light is kind of a bad song.
Sir Stewart
happy to see SBS top the list, but i have to be honest, i think What Light is kind of a bad song. It's the weakest one on that album, for sure.

Yeah, I've never cared too much for it (kind of plain and cliche), but a lot of people I know love it for some reason.. And anytime I play it solo at a show, the audience LOVES it... But it's still Wilco.. Their worst songs are better than most bands best songs..
ZenLunatic
i think What Light is kind of a bad song. I really like that song. The whole feel and lyrics.

As the only two time winner since '99, I'd say Wilco is more "perrenial"
H.Stone
Thanks for the link, Edie. I'd love to see them sang that Grammy.
Edie
As the only two time winner since '99, I'd say Wilco is more "perrenial" Perennial winners of the 'XRT listeners poll, which I believe each has won at least once before
CortezTheKiller
happy to see SBS top the list, but i have to be honest, i think What Light is kind of a bad song. It might be a better song if they repeated the chorus a little more.

After all that then XRT goes back to playing crappy music.
