Clouds of Fluff
I loved looking around The Bellagio (there's a gorgeous glass sculpture hanging from the ceiling as you walk in, gardens, and the fountain show if fun too) and The Venetian. If you go to New York New York, there's a really yummy Italian "sidewalk cafe" complete with an Italian waiter to sing for you...we had an amazing brunch there. I highly recommend walking around the old part of Vegas. That's all I got right now. edit: yeah, what poppy said about The Bellagio!
poppydawn
edit: yeah, what poppy said about The Bellagio! Take us two off the prairie and plop us in the big glitzy city and what do we do? Look at big glitzy flowers.
Moltisanti
Piano Bar at New York, New York. Greatest time ever.
PigSooie
Piano Bar at New York, New York. Greatest time ever. That is fun, but get there early. The place is tiny, and you can go to a piano bar just about anywhere. That being said, I have had a blast every time I've been.
EL the Famous
Piano Bar at New York, New York. Greatest time ever. Seconded. Ghost Bar on top of the Palms is kind of cool, but not entirely worth the long wait you may come up on to get in...a decent alternative is voodoo lounge on top of Rio, equally cool view of the entire strip while you drink. I'll also say a few cocktails in the center bar at the Hard Rock is fun...I don't like the strip club that's across the street however (Crazy Horse Too or Speramint Rhino are good). i didn't realize Trader Vic's had opened yet last time i went, i'll be checking that out next time i go (the photos on the website make it look fantastic). Go eat a steak at Binion's Ranch Steakhouse on fremont...great atmosphere and view, HUGE portions. not cheap, but worth it. Red 8 at the Wynn has great asian and B&B Ristorante in the venetian has great italian. i'm not that into gambling, but i will say that i was amazed they comped us free drinks while we played slots for two hours at the wynn one night. $20 on the wheel of fortune machine comped me what had to be $100 worth of vodka cranberrys.
