fatheadfred
Going to the Tulsa show. Any recommendations on brewskies and decent food? Yes, I am white. I do not eat meat at restaurants. I eat my own animals. Does this preclude me from nutrients in Tulsa? And for beer, I mean good beer. Not corn/rice swill.

lessthanIthink
http://www.cazspub.com/ Walking distance to Cain's. I hung out there when Wilco played Tulsa in '05.
gopokes
http://www.cazspub.com/ Walking distance to Cain's. I hung out there when Wilco played Tulsa in '05. Caz's also opened Caz's Chowhouse which serves pretty good food and has a solid beer list and is only a block from Cain's. www.cazschowhouse.com Across the street is Lola's, a tapas restaurant. It has pretty good food as well. www.lolasatthebowery.com At the end of the day, it's still mostly meat! Hope this helps.......
lessthanIthink
There was a late night sushi bar too. It was one of the only places serving food 'til 2am downtown. It was pretty good.
borracho
Mexicali Border Cafe down the street from Cain's is really good Mexican food - last time i was there i was with some friends who were vegetarians and they came away full and happy... the story also involves cops, priests, and the Black Keys, but that's for another storytime...
